Last night at around eleven, CNN called the election for Barack Obama. It was a beautiful moment, followed by cheering, jumping, dancing, even crying. I'm at college, and many of us were avid Obama supporters. Outside people were ecstatic! I called my mother this morning to gloat. Change has come to America, change that we so desperately need. Much thanks to my fellow Americans for not failing us once again.

On a side note: Throughout this campaign season I've said some cruel things about Sen. McCain. I love Obama, but can't seem to get McCain's sad, disappointed Grandpa look out of my head. I feel like I've just dropped him off at a nursing home.
